腮腺炎（parotitis）是腮腺（人类脸颊两旁的主要唾腺）及其导管的急性或慢性炎症，主要表现为一侧或两侧耳垂下肿大。腮腺是唾腺中最经常发炎的一个部位。
病因
目前已知最常造成细菌性腮腺炎的是金黄色葡萄球菌（Staphylococcus aureus），但也有可能是任何一种在身体上共生的细菌[2]。
造成肺结核的分枝杆菌也可能造成腮腺炎。感染者通常腮腺会肿大、无压痛，不会太痛。诊断方法为放射性造影、培养，或组织切片。一旦发现是外结核性腮腺炎便给予抗肺结核处方，通常1-3个月即会消退[2]。
