津巴布韦国徽启用于1981年9月21日。为盾徽，上方绘有水纹，下方绿地，绘有大津巴布韦遗址。花环上有津巴布韦鸟，位于红色五角星之前。盾后有交叉的锄头和步枪，两侧由捻角羚扶持。下方的黄土地有小麦、圆木、棉花和玉米。绶带书有国家格言“统一、自由、劳动”。
