大唇犀

大唇犀（学名：Chilotherium）是一属已灭绝的犀牛，生存于中新世至上新世（13.7—3.4 百万年前）的欧亚大陆上，包括中国蒙古。

描述

大唇犀为体型粗壮的动物，依物种的不同肩高范围为 1.5至1.8米（4.9至5.9英尺），而体重范围在 1至2.5公吨（2,200至5,500英磅） 之间^[1]。

雄性与雌性均不具有角，下唇比上唇大，下颌骨粗状成铲子状。上颚没有门齿，下颚的门齿阔大，并且向上弯，齿式为 0.0.3.31(2).0.3.3。头部比现今的犀大稍大，头颅骨没有角。大唇犀矮小，四肢短小，每肢有三趾^[2]。

大唇犀是牧食性的动物，生活于沼泽地带。
