生平
刘绍春于1843年上任淡水厅大甲中军守备，为台湾清治时期的地方官员，该官职主要从事大甲地区武职事务，品等不高，只为正七品以下。
1848年刘绍春担任竹堑北路右营游击，1853年任噶玛兰营都司，但因噶玛兰地方民乱，导致台湾府抚民理番通判董正官被杀，遂被革职。
