Asking Alexandria是一支英国金属核乐团，于2008年由吉他手Ben Bruce与一群好友组成的。目前的团员有Ben Bruce、Cameron Liddell、Sam Bettley、Danny Worsnop和James Cassells。
乐团历史
原先Ben Bruce以Asking Alexandria这个团名在迪拜发行一张专辑后，就解散了。因此这乐团从未参与巡回。直到2008年，Bruce返回英国，遇上了新成员，继续以Asking Alexandria这个名字。[1]这个乐团原先是六人制的，在2008年混音师Ryan Binns的离开，而转为五人制，2009年贝斯手Sam Bettley取代Joe Lancaster的位置。经过一些表演，他们决定到美国发展他们的音乐，2009年于印第安纳州录制他们的出道作品《Stand Up and Scream》，接着唱片公司Sumerian就签下了Asking Alexandria，也与许多有名的乐团如Alesana、Enter Shikari、The Bled和Evergreen Terrace展开巡回。
2009年的十二月，Asking Alexandria宣布第二张专辑的发行消息，与上一张专辑制作人Joey Sturgis再次合作。其中一曲《Breathless》的现场版先行在Youtube被公开。
三月他们来到北美，与Attack Attack!、Breathe Carolina、I See Stars、英国金属核乐团Bury Tomorrow展开巡回。又首次登上欧洲与Dance Gavin Dance、In Fear and Faith同台演出。
终于他们宣布了首个主场巡回，得到We Came as Romans、From First to Last、Our Last Night与A Bullet for Pretty Boy的声援。后来又吉他手Bruce证实乐团也将与Born of Osiris参加《Thrash and Burn夏祭巡回》。[2]，而新专辑一曲《Breathless》就是在这时首先表演的。接着翻唱阿肯的Right Now (Na Na Na)，收录在发行于2010年十一月的《Punk Goes Pop 3》。
在新墨西哥州的一场演出中，Bruce，说明了新专辑《Reckless & Relentless》的发行细节与上张专辑《Stand Up and Scream》重发一事。重发盘，将会附上现场音乐录影带与新MV《A Prophecy》的DVD。
十一月，在《Reckless & Relentless》发行前，他们先释出了EP《Life Gone Wild》，当中收录了史奇洛乐团的翻唱歌曲《18 and Life》、《Youth Gone Wild》。[3]
然而重发版的《Stand Up and Scream》一直被延期，直到2011年的夏季被重新定名为《Stepped Up and Scratched》，可视为收录第一张专辑电子混音版。回到英国与Of Mice & Men、Chelsea Grin等乐团进行表演。[4]
终于《Reckless & Relentless》在2011年四月发行了，登上告示牌200第9名。这也让Asking Alexandria首次登上大萤幕。[5]
MV《Closure》则是在七月释出，十天后另一支MV《To the Stage》也释出了。[6] [7]九月主唱Danny Worsnop在他的Youtube上公开个人活动的的展开，风格将会偏于摇滚风格，而非Asking Alexandria的金属味，接着他公开了个人曲目《Photograph》。[8]
紧接着十月Sumerain唱片公司，在Youtube的页面上发表乐团颇具争议性歌曲影带《Not The American Average》[9]24日，首张专辑的重发盘《Stepped Up and Scratched》以Tomba混音版的《Another Bottle Down》揭开序幕，正式订于十一月21日发行，其中的乐曲将由Borgore、Celldweller、Born of Osiris、Big Chocolate、Tomba等等混音师重新混音。[10]
十一月2日，Asking Alexandria将与Borgore、We Came As Romans、Winds of Plague、D.R.U.G.S.和Stick To Your Guns在拉斯维加斯的蓝屋（House of Blues）进行演出。[11]
2015年1月22日主唱Danny Worsnop宣布离团，未来将专注于新乐队We Are Harlot。
2016年3月25日，Asking Alexandria发布了第四张录音室专辑The Black，这是唯一一张与Denis Stoff合作的，Denis于10月21日离开了乐团，而Danny则是重新加入他们。
