黑喉潜鸟（学名：Gavia arctica），中型大小为潜鸟科之一员。

特征
嘴笔直灰黑色。成鸟体长63-75公分，翼宽100-120公分，外型像小一号但头部光滑的普通潜鸟。繁殖期灰头、黑喉、白腹、背部白粗黑细纹相间。非繁殖期头顶、后颈、背部黑褐色，从眼睛下方脸颊至前颈皆为白色。
分布
主要于欧亚大陆北部繁殖，少部分在阿拉斯加西部。冬季则往南到沿海海域、大湖泊越冬。
生态
和其它潜鸟一样，也是捕鱼的好手，潜到水面下捕捉猎物，飞行时颈部向前伸出。叫声多变如约德尔唱法叫声，高声调的嚎叫声。
