生平
生于怡保，从小喜欢踢足球，司职中坚，1966年入选马来西亚国家足球队。
他1973年加盟香港甲组联赛球会加山[2]，其后转会光华，1976年加盟南华。1977-78年度为南华赢得香港甲组联赛冠军。[3]1979-80年度当选香港足球明星选举最佳十一人。1979年开始经营体育用品生意，1984年结束球员生涯。
家庭
侄儿陈永雄亦曾是马来西亚国脚。
