嘉庆五年，乡试中举。嘉庆十四年，署江苏常熟县知县[2]；嘉庆十八年，署上海县知县、江苏奉贤县知县。嘉庆二十一年，任崇明县知县。道光元年，任江苏江都县知县[3]。
