盖德奥地区

盖德奥地区（Gedeo Zone）是埃塞俄比亚南方各族州的其中一个地区，面积1,329.39平方公里，东面、南面和西面是奥罗米亚州，北面与锡达马地区接壤，海拔1,268米至2,993米^[1]。根据埃塞俄比亚中央统计局2005年人口普查的资料，盖德奥人口约820,944，其中男性411,163人，女性118,440人，14.4%居民住在市区，人口密度为每平方公里617.53人。^[2]
