考评：繁，疲，难。隶陕安道。总兵驻。明朝曰兴安州，领县六。乾隆四十七年（1782年）升府，置安康县为府治，并省汉阴县入之。五十五年，复置汉阴厅。领厅一，县六：安康县、平利县、洵阳县、白河县、紫阳县、石泉县、汉阴厅[1]。道光二年（1822年）升砖坪营为砖坪厅，领厅二，县六。
