梅森在弗吉尼亚州长大，高中四年得到了 1901分，这是校史上得分第二高的球员，仅次于名人堂成员摩西·马龙。[1]
2024年10月5日，中国男子篮球职业联赛福建鲟与梅森完成签约[2]。10月26日，特雷·戈尔登加盟福建鲟，梅森被福建鲟取消注册[3]。
