校史沿革
始建于1956年，原名财政经济大学（Trường Đại học Kinh tế Tài chính），1961年获北越政府颁发劳动勋章[2]，1965年更名为计划经济大学（Trường Đại học Kinh tế Kế hoạch）[3]。1985年更名为国民经济大学[4]。
教学现况
国民经济大学是越南经济、公共管理、商业管理等领域的翘楚之一[5]。
目前，国民经济大学领导着一个由40多所越南大学组成的经济和商业管理大学网络。国民经济大学还是一个著名的研究和咨询中心，通过其出版物和咨询服务为越南政府的政策制定和企业的经营发展提供帮助。[6]
国民经济大学和30多个国家的100多个机构和组织建立了合作伙伴关系，并一直致力于同大型政府组织和国际金融机构合作开展研究项目，合作伙伴包括世界银行、亚洲开发银行、日本国际协力机构等。[6]
