中国上海国际艺术节是中华人民共和国唯一一个国家级综合性国际艺术节，每年举办一届[1]。该节由中华人民共和国文化和旅游部主办、上海市人民政府承办。首届中国上海国际艺术节于1999年11月2日在上海大剧院开幕[2][3]。该届中国上海国际艺术节举办的活动以舞台表演艺术为主[4]。2020年至2022年期间，受新冠疫情影响，中国上海国际艺术节暂停举办。[5]
