平面袋鼠屬（學名：Protemnodon）是澳洲及巴布亞新畿內亞的一屬有袋類。牠們生存於更新世。基於化石證據，牠們的外觀像沙袋鼠，但較為大型。P. hopei是較為細小的物種，約重45公斤，而其他物種則重110公斤。[2]
