重金屬音樂（英語：Heavy metal music）通常簡稱為金屬樂（Metal），是搖滾樂的一個子流派，泛指所有具有金屬音樂特點的音樂風格。重金屬音樂興起於1960年代末期的英國和美國。它發源於藍調搖滾、迷幻搖滾，再從更猛烈的硬式搖滾中改良演變而來。是一種渾厚、音量大的音樂，特色是強而有力的嗓音
