髡是指剃髮，《說文·髟部》段玉裁注曰：「髡，剃髮也。」焦贛《易林·復之坎》：「髠刑受法，終不得釋。」三國時期，馬謖被諸葛亮誅殺，陳壽之父是馬謖的參軍，被施以髡刑。魏明帝定律，「髡刑有四，完刑、作刑各三。」[1]晉時徒刑稱做「髡刑」﹐又名「耐罪」[2]
