起源

清朝時列為宮廷食品,現已成為北京著名小吃。因為在其表面裹有一層均勻的豆麵,外觀頗似毛驢在土地上打滾後,渾身沾滿乾土而得名。

別稱

打麵倉是官府版的驢打滾,以熟芝麻代替黃豆麵,用煎炸代替蒸製,一般為過年時吃。之所以叫「打麵倉」,乃寓意倉滿糧多,年年有餘。[2]
