毒條砂岩間坐落着東尼屍骨層(Tony's Bone Bed)—一個恐龍骨骼的主要集中產地。在此處被發覺之前僅得知可能的蜥結龍遺跡、一些在毒條帶發現的獸腳類與蜥腳類的單獨骨頭。[11]直到1998年,丹佛自然史博物館的志工們在距離毒條頂部之下3.75米處發現了東尼屍骨層。[12]東尼屍骨層中保存的化石質量呈現大幅落差,其中許多化石狀態代表這些沉積物是逐漸積累而成的,許多骨頭似乎在掩埋前受到踩踏,某些骨頭末端遺失可能由食腐者所移除。沒有任何骨頭是彼此關節連接保存下來的。所有證據都顯示這些動物從死亡到最終掩埋距離很長一段時間。東尼屍骨層可能是河道在旱季水位較低時隨時間演進而累積起來的。[13]
