特點
長子大青椒個大肉厚、色澤鮮艷、清脆味美、耐藏易運[2]。1998年，長子縣被中國特產之鄉委員會命名為「中國青椒之鄉」[3]。2008年8月22日，長子大青椒與芮城花椒、紅山蕎麥、孝義核桃通過中華人民共和國農業部審查，成為中國地理標誌產品[4][5][6]。
