耳蝸神經

耳蝸神經（英文：Cochlear nerve），又稱聽神經（auditory/acoustic nerve)，屬於感覺神經，是前庭耳蝸神經的一個分支（另一個為前庭神經）^[1][2]。耳蝸神經連接內耳的耳蝸，將聽覺信號傳遞至腦部；前庭神經則連接前庭系統，負責平衡覺資訊傳遞^[1][2]。

在哺乳動物中，耳蝸神經包含的傳入神經纖維一般分為兩類^[3]：

• 第一型神經元（Type I neuron）占 90-95%，連接內毛細胞。它們直徑較大，屬於雙極神經元、有髓鞘。每個第一型神經元都連接着一個毛細胞，但依據物種和細胞位置，一個毛細胞可連接至多30個神經纖維。
• 第二型神經元（Type II neuron）佔5-10%，連接外毛細胞，直徑較小、無髓鞘。

聽神經纖維的細胞體位於耳蝸的螺旋神經節內，與聽覺感受器柯蒂氏器相連^[4]。
