歷史
唐武德五年由石龍、吳川二縣析置，六年改隸辯州，貞元中改陸川縣復置，屬禺州，故城址在高州城西北羅江邊（今廣西北流市六靖鎮古城村）。宋開寶五年併入北流縣。[1]
縣名得名於南朝宋道士羅辯。
