生平
萬曆四十年（1612年）壬子科山東鄉試第十二名舉人，萬曆四十一年（1613年）聯捷癸丑科進士會試八十二名，殿試三甲三十五名，授河南汝寧府商城縣知縣，擢兵部主事，泰昌元年（1620年）十一月捧尚方劍詣遼東，賜經略袁應泰。天啓元年奉差解宣府馬價銀二萬二千餘兩[1]。崇禎元年三月，由兵部郎中升四川副使，加升四川布政司左參政[2]。
家族
祖父父復初，儒官；祖母孟氏，旌表貞節牌坊。父方東省，號月崗，鄉里稱長者。
