川貝為百合科植物川貝母、暗紫貝母、甘肅貝母、梭砂貝母的乾燥鱗莖,為一味潤肺止咳的傳統中藥。前三者按性狀不同分別習稱「松貝」和「青貝」,後者習稱「爐貝」。川貝的別名有:虻(《詩經》),黃虻(《管子》),苘(《爾稚》),貝母、空草(《本經》),貝父、藥實(《廣雅》),苦花、苦菜、勤母(《別錄》)。[1]
藥用
夏、秋二季或積雪融化時採挖,除去鬚根、粗皮及泥沙,曬乾或低溫乾燥。[1]
味甘苦,性微寒,無毒。歸肺、心經。[2]
清熱潤肺,化痰止咳,散結消腫。
用於肺虛、久咳、虛勞咳嗽、燥熱咳嗽、乾咳少痰、咯痰帶血、肺癰、瘰癧、癰腫、乳癰。[2]
