《大同日報》，創刊於1949年5月5日，為中華人民共和國山西省大同市委機關報[1]。1949年5月1日，大同城內國民黨守軍向共產黨軍投降，5月5日軍管會接收復興日報社及森日印刷所、豐崗印刷所，合併成立大同日報社。其後幾經停辦與復辦。2000年9月，大同日報社與大同晚報社合併，組成大同報社。大同日報每日出刊，編輯部在大同市司令部街8號。[2]
