墳場

墳場（英語：cemetery或graveyard），又稱公墓，是專門埋葬多個死者遺體以及火葬遺物如骨灰的一塊地方。英文中的「cemetery」來源於希臘文κοιμητήριον，意為「睡覺的場所」。該詞暗示此地塊專用作埋葬地。在西方世界，墳場是為死者舉行最後的紀念儀式的地方。這些儀式隨着宗教信仰和文化實踐的不同而互有差異。^[1]

在台灣有時為了避諱，亦會以「夜總會」一詞代指墳場或是公墓裏的墳墓。
