校史沿革
始建於1956年，原名財政經濟大學（Trường Đại học Kinh tế Tài chính），1961年獲北越政府頒發勞動勳章[2]，1965年更名為計劃經濟大學（Trường Đại học Kinh tế Kế hoạch）[3]。1985年更名為國民經濟大學[4]。
教學現況
國民經濟大學是越南經濟、公共管理、商業管理等領域的翹楚之一[5]。
目前，國民經濟大學領導着一個由40多所越南大學組成的經濟和商業管理大學網絡。國民經濟大學還是一個著名的研究和諮詢中心，通過其出版物和諮詢服務為越南政府的政策制定和企業的經營發展提供幫助。[6]
國民經濟大學和30多個國家的100多個機構和組織建立了合作夥伴關係，並一直致力於同大型政府組織和國際金融機構合作開展研究項目，合作夥伴包括世界銀行、亞洲開發銀行、日本國際協力機構等。[6]
