雙極神經元（英語：bipolar neuron）自細胞體兩端各發出一個突起（樹突和軸突），分別至感覺受器（周圍突）或進入神經中樞（中樞突），如視網膜雙極細胞，前庭耳蝸神經內的螺旋神經節和前庭神經節。[1]
