生平
1936年出生於江蘇省丹陽市，1960年畢業於唐山鐵道學院（現西南交通大學），現於西南交通大學任職。1997年被選為中國工程院院士，2012年因發表「溫州動車事故炒作說」而遭非議[1] [2]。
