磁性半導體(英語:Magnetic semiconductor)是一種同時體現鐵磁性和半導體特性的半導體材料。如果在設備里使用磁性半導體,它們將提供一種新型的導電方式。儘管傳統的電子技術基於載流子(N型或者P型),實用的磁性半導體允許對量子自旋的控制。理論上,這將提供接近完全的自旋極化(在鐵等材料中僅能提供至多50%的極化),這是自旋電子學的一個重要應用,例如自旋電晶體(spin transistors)。
