影木，是傳說中的一種異樹，在太陽下邊看,葉片象滿天星斗落到影木上。一千年才結一顆果實,果實如甜瓜的樣子,青皮黑瓤,誰吃了這種果實,就能變得身體輕盈。[1]另外癭木也別稱影木,而叫「影木」這個名是指本身的木質紋理特徵。[2]「癭木」則是樹木生長於近根部的一種叫木瘤的疾病。[3]
