大阿帕拉契山谷

大阿帕拉契山谷,又名大山谷或大山谷區域，是北美洲東部一處大型的地貌形態。它是由一系列山谷低地構成的巨型地槽，附屬並以阿帕拉契亞山係為中心特徵。該地槽北起加拿大的魁北克省，南至美國阿拉巴馬州，綿延1200英里，自史前時期以來便是一條重要的南北交通要道。

地理特徵

廣義上說，大阿帕拉契山谷標記美國阿帕拉契山脈山谷地文區的東部邊界，這兒包含許多諸如謝南多厄河谷這樣的區域。從宏觀尺度上看，大阿帕拉契山谷可分為南、北兩大區域。
