Kana (khá-nah, Hàn-jī: 仮名; Hiragana: かな) sī chi̍t khoán Ji̍t-pún bûn-jī, hiān-sî Ji̍t-gí só͘ thong-iōng ê kana ū 2-cho͘: Hiragana (平仮名, ひらがな) kap Katakana (片仮名, カタカナ). Lēng-goā khah chá mā ū Man'yôgana (万葉仮名), sī chi̍t thò ēng Hàn-jī lâi piáu-sī ê kó͘-sek kana; koh ū chi̍t koá hō chò Hentaigana (変体仮名) ê piàn-hêng.
Tû-liáu Ji̍t-gí, kana mā hōng ēng lâi pheng Ainu-gí kap Liû-kiû-gí. Tī Ji̍t-pún sî-tāi ê Tâi-oân, kana mā hông èng-iōng lâi chò Tâi-oân-oē kap kî-tha Tâi-oân chāi-tē gí-giân ê pheng-im.
