Cho̍k-kûn (族群; Eng-gí: ethnic group) ì-sù sī chi̍t tīn kāng-khóan chó͘-sian, hiat-iân, gōa-siùⁿ, le̍k-sú, bûn-hoà, sè-sio̍k, gí-giân, ia̍h chong-kàu ê kûn-thé.
Chia kóng ê "cho̍k-kûn", sī kap Eng-gí ê ethnic tùi-tâng, hit jī ê goân-thâu sī Hi-lia̍p-gí tan-jī ἔθνος ethnos (kóng khah siōng-sè sī hêng-iông-sû ἐθνικός ethnikos[1]). Eng-gí ethnic tāi-seng sī tùi-tâng folk ("jîn-bîn") ê khài-liām, siong-tong tùi āu-kî Tiong-kó͘ Eng-gí khai-sí Latin-sek ê people.
