Bô͘-sek chéng (eng. type species; lat. species typica), nā chiàu tōng-bu̍t hō-miâ-hoat kui-hoān, sī chi̍t-ê sio̍k he̍k-chiá á-sio̍k ē-té hâm bô͘-sek piau-pún ê chi̍t chéng. Si̍t-bu̍t-ha̍k siōng tùi pún kài-liām bô chò kui-tēng, in chèng-sek chhái-ēng ê sī bô͘-sek (type) ê koan-liām, chi̍t-ê sio̍k ê bô͘-sek sī chi̍t hāng piau-pún (ū-sî kaⁿ-taⁿ ū ōe-tô͘), hit hāng piau-pún mā sī bó͘ chéng ê bô͘-sek.
