Thô͘-thoàⁿ ia̍h-sī mûi-thoàⁿ, sī 1 chióng seⁿ chò o͘-sek ia̍h àm-sek ê hoà-chio̍h jiân-liāu, chhut-sán tī làm-tē ê seng-thài hē-thóng; hit tah ê si̍t-bu̍t siū chúi, lō͘-kô͘-moâi pó-hō͘, tì-tio̍h in bô keng-koè sng-sò͘-hoà, seng-bu̍t hun-kái ê koè-têng. Thô͘-thoàⁿ chú-iàu sī thoàⁿ (carbon) kiam thàu-lām koá kî-thaⁿ ê goân-sò͘, chhiūⁿ kóng (sulfur).
