Scalawag，即南方無賴，意思是低等級的家畜，在美國歷史上指的是在南北戰爭後，支持重建政策的南方白人。

在南北戰爭後他們被本地白人和民主黨人視為叛徒（不支持白人優越主義），在南北戰爭之前，他們也反對南方各州脫離美國。戰後他們主張通過教育和基礎設施實現現代化，特別是更好的公路和鐵路，也支持黑人選舉權，並且反對種族隔離。
他們很多人是共和黨成員。
