Paul Talalay

系，曾轉入醫學系但反悔回到農化系，1953年學士畢業，於1956年碩士畢業後赴美求學。1957年偶然受到芝加哥大學生化學者Paul Talalay（英语：Paul Talalay）的邀請，從康乃爾大學轉入芝加哥大學就讀生物化學與分子生物博士。1961年博士畢業後，至芝加哥大學Ben May癌症研究中心1966年諾貝爾獎得主Charles

郡湖口庄長岡嶺。新竹中学及高雄医学院药学系毕业，台湾大学医学院硕士，耶鲁大学博士。在约翰霍普金斯大学医学院师從药理主任保羅·塔拉雷（英语：Paul Talalay）教授/院士從事博士后研究。于1972年受聘于斯隆凯特琳癌症中心及康乃尔大学医学研究院担任教职，于1988年升任教授。
