Geology of the Rocky Mountains

洛磯山脈（英語：Rocky Mountains）是北美洲西部科迪勒拉山系最东端的主要山脈，和其平行的有太平洋海岸山脈、喀斯喀特山脈及內華達山脈。 美国和加拿大对落基山脉的具体地理定义有所不同。加拿大定义仅从西部不列颠哥伦比亚省北部的利亚德河南岸开始向西南延伸（在加拿大境内的部分专称加拿大落基山脉）
