生平
高爾登早年曾留學日本陸軍士官學校，自騎兵科畢業，他是光復會會員、同盟會會員。畢業歸國後，曾任雲南督練公所兵備處總辦，後兼任雲南陸軍講武堂總辦。[1]辛亥革命後，他曾任浙江都督府財政司司長、徐海道道尹、[2]浙江銀行總經理、護國軍總司令部參謀長、廣東軍政府衛戍總司令部參謀長。[3]1913年2月20日授陸軍少將，1919年7月24日授陸軍中將。
