阿拉斯泰爾·羅賓遜博士(Dr. Alastair Robinson,1980年—)為專業從事豬籠草屬等植物研究的英國-美國分類學家和植物學家。他發表了第一個關於豬籠草起源的古地理學證據。[1][2]
2007年,阿拉斯泰爾·羅賓遜與其他學者以前發現了巴拉望島上的巨型豬籠草——愛登堡豬籠草(Nepenthes attenboroughii),他也是其正式描述的作者。愛登堡豬籠草是繼1858年發現馬來王豬籠草(Nepenthes rajah)後,所發現的最大型的豬籠草。[1][3][4][5]
2013年,一種菲律賓蘇拉威西島特有的兜蘭以其名稱而被命名為「Paphiopedilum robinsonianum」。[6][7]
阿拉斯泰爾·羅賓遜在倫敦大學學院取得了學士學位,又以關於植物時空細胞發育的分子調控機制的研究在劍橋大學取得了博士學位。他在歐洲南部、坦桑尼亞、婆羅洲和菲律賓專長從事豹皮花(夾竹桃科)、陸生蘭花、生態學和保育生物學的研究。[3]
他是2009年關於豬籠草及土瓶草的著作——《舊大陸的豬籠草》的主要編者。[3]此外,他也參與了2011年《新豬籠草:卷一》中南半島及新幾內亞部分的創作。[8]
