長尾山椒鳥（學名：Pericrocotus ethologus）為山椒鳥科山椒鳥屬的鳥類。分佈於阿富汗、向東經尼泊爾、錫金、不丹、抵印度、孟加拉、中南半島以及中國大陸的西藏、雲南、河北、河南、山西、陝西、甘肅、青海、四川、?東北等地，常見於多種植被類型的生境中、如闊葉林、雜木林、混交林、針葉林以及也見於開墾地附近的林間。該物種的模式產地在湖北興山。[1]

亞種
- 長尾山椒鳥指名亞種（學名：Pericrocotus ethologus ethologus）。分佈於緬甸、泰國、老撾、越南以及中國大陸的河北、河南、山西、陝西、甘肅、青海、四川、貴州、湖北、雲南、?東北等地。該物種的模式產地在湖北興山。[2]
- 長尾山椒鳥西藏亞種（學名：Pericrocotus ethologus laetus）。分佈於尼泊爾、錫金、不丹、孟加拉、印度以及中國大陸的西藏等地。該物種的模式產地在錫金Jeyluk。[3]
- 長尾山椒鳥雲南亞種（學名：Pericrocotus ethologus yvettae）。分佈於緬甸以及中國大陸的雲南等地。該物種的模式產地在緬甸Malipa。[4]
