鎖核酸(Locked nucleic acid,LNA)是一種經過修飾的RNA,LNA中一部分核糖上的2'與4'碳連結在一起。一般可見於A-DNA或RNA。
這類核酸可以增加引子或探針(probe)的融解溫度(Tm值),加強這些實驗用物質的穩定性,可應用在即時聚合酶連鎖反應(real-time PCR)等技術中。
