歷史
1975年，中國地質礦產部衡陽探礦機械廠「721」工大、中國地質礦產部重慶探礦機械廠「721」工大組建合併成為「地質礦產部衡陽探礦機械廠職工大學」，它是「衡陽工業職工大學」的前身。[1] 1994年，中國地質礦產部教育司批准同意改名為「衡陽工業職工大學」。[1]
