蔡希陶（1911年4月10日—1981年3月9日），原名中矩，字侃如，號希陶，以號行，男，中國植物學家，第五屆全國政協委員。[1][2][3][4][5]
蔡希陶於清宣統三年（1911年）4月10日（農曆1911年3月12日）生於浙江東陽虎鹿鎮蔡宅村樂順堂。1930年，進入北平靜生生物調查所任實習生，後被所長胡先驌派往雲南進行熱帶植物調查。1938年5月，雲南農林植物研究所（現昆明植物研究所）在昆明北郊黑龍潭成立，蔡希陶兼任公園經理。1959年，西雙版納熱帶植物園宣告成立，蔡希陶為第一任園主任。兼任雲南省科委副主任、中國科學院昆明分院副院長。[來源請求]
蔡希陶熱愛文學。1960年，蔡希陶建議同鄉吳晗將劇本《海瑞》改名為《海瑞罷官》。文革中，吳晗因《海瑞罷官》被迫害致死，蔡也被牽連而經歷多次批鬥和抄家。[6][7]
