祁陽話是湖南省祁陽市一種湘語方言，屬永全片，其發音語調與永州話有顯著差異。

語調
祁陽話與鄰近的永州話有明顯差異，它有兩種「雙輪廓」聲調，高聲和低聲聲調，或者高聲聲調-低聲聲調和低聲聲調-高聲聲調：入聲陰去 ˦˨˧˨ (4232) 和 陽去 ˨˩˦˨ (2142)。 然而，從語音上講，音節的音高取決於聲母的發音，因此這些在語音上是單音。 此外，陰去聲調的最終下降「在感知上不相關」，因此「下降」（對於陰去）和「峰化」（對於陽去）可能是一個足夠的分類。
