新澤西省

新澤西省（英語：Province of New Jersey）是美國殖民地時期（英語：Colonial history of the United States）的中部殖民地（英語：Middle Colonies），後來在1783年成為美國州份之一新澤西州。起初此省屬於新尼德蘭，但1664年在阿姆斯特丹堡投降後交由英格蘭統治，成為專用殖民地（英語：proprietary colony）。英國人後來以英吉利海峽的澤西島命名。荷蘭共和國在1673－1674年一度恢復控制一段時間。之後分割為東澤西及西澤西，直至1702年合併成為皇家殖民地。原初省邊界比現時州份稍大，部分延伸至現時紐約州內，直至邊界在1773年確定為止^[1]。
