德國酸菜搖滾

德國酸菜搖滾（英語：Krautrock，德語：kosmische Musik，也叫cosmic music^[7][8])是一種泛指的實驗搖滾（英語：experimental rock）類型，在1960年代末期的德國發展開來。^[9]「酸菜搖滾」這種稱呼一開始是一些英文音樂記者給一些德國樂隊起的打趣的名字，這些樂隊的曲風混雜了迷幻搖滾、前衛、電子音樂、放克、簡約音樂、即興爵士（英語：jazz improvisation）和世界音樂的曲風，和英美兩國搖滾樂傳統的藍調、搖滾風極為不同，並強化了電子音樂、氛圍音樂的流行、派生出了後龐克、另類搖滾和新世紀音樂這三種類型。^[4][10]酸菜搖滾的代表樂隊有罐頭樂隊、發電廠樂團、Neu!（英語：Neu!）、灰燼太陽神殿、橘夢樂團、Popol Vuh（英語：Popol Vuh (band)）和Faust（英語：Faust (band)）。
