生平
萬曆四十三年乙卯科舉人，四十四年（1616年）丙辰科進士，授行人。歷任考功司郎中，掌選事。晉太僕寺少卿，超擢右僉都御史，巡撫保定[1]。崇禎十一年，坐屬邑失亡多，下獄，與山東巡撫顏繼祖並被殺於西市[2]。崇禎十二年（1639年）八月，誅文武失事諸臣三十二人——保定巡撫張其平、順天巡撫陳祖苞、總兵倪寵、內監鄧希詔等。
