國會山莊

國會山莊（英語：Capitol Hill），是美國首都華盛頓哥倫比亞特區的一個街區（neighborhood），也是華盛頓特區內最大的聯邦歷史特定區（Federal historic districts），美國政府最高的權力象徵——美國國會大廈即座落於此。儘管地理上並不在華盛頓特區的中心，但是還是由於它的特殊地位而成為大家關注的焦點。名稱來源於羅馬七丘之一的卡比托利歐山（Capitolium），拉丁語言的頭部和首都（capital）也具有相同詞根。這一名稱意在致敬古典民主和共和。

國會山莊

國會山莊是華盛頓特區最古老的住宅區之一，人口約3.5萬人，面積不到2平方英里（5平方公里），也是人口最稠密的地區之一。

國會山莊橫跨華盛頓兩個象限，東南區和東北區。現在，該社區的很大一部分被指定為國會山莊歷史區。
