卡諾廣場

卡諾廣場（Place Carnot）是法國里昂的一個廣場，位於里昂第二區，半島末端，靠近 Perrache 火車站。
歷史
法蘭西第一帝國時期，該廣場名為勝利廣場（Place des Victoires）。查理十世在位時改名為路易十六廣場，後來又更名為路易十八廣場（1821–1848）、自由廣場（Place de la Liberté，1848）、共和國廣場（1848–1849）、拿破崙廣場（1849–1871）和 Place Perrache (1871–1889)。1889年2月18日，市議會正式命名為卡諾廣場，以紀念法國革命英雄拉扎爾·卡諾[1]。
廣場上的共和國雕塑同年由他的孫子，法國總統瑪利·弗朗索瓦·薩迪·卡諾揭幕，五年後（1894年6月24日），卡諾總統在第二次來里昂時被意大利無政府主義者刺殺[2]。
